The SpineLine system, developed by AtlantoMed, is a cutting-edge solution for postural analysis. The SpineLine posture assessment system integrates a green laser reference line which, in combination with a measurement wall designed to facilitate analysis, allows even the smallest deviations from the ideal posture to be detected.
The measurement wall, made of washable plastic-coated fabric, features reference lines that assist in evaluation while simultaneously preventing the patient from aligning vertically by relying on sight.
To ensure accurate assessment, SpineLine is equipped with its own powerful autonomous LED lighting with a neutral color temperature. This guarantees an even distribution of light on the subject, regardless of ambient lighting conditions, eliminating shadows that could distort the analysis.
The 25 kg rotating platform is machined from a 60 kg solid aluminum block to ensure maximum stability and durability. It stops precisely at every 90° rotation. Its 10 ball bearings enable smooth movement, effectively supporting even higher weights.
SpineLine makes patient positioning precise, fast, and most importantly, exactly repeatable with every use, something not to be taken for granted in other posture assessment systems.
The robust and immovable construction of the SpineLine system, combined with an accurate initial calibration, allows photographs to be taken at different times while maintaining a fixed and unchanging position, always perfectly orthogonal to the patient and the measurement wall. This condition is crucial since even minimal variations in the shooting point, a lack of orthogonality, and the resulting change in perspective affect the accuracy of the posture assessment, invalidating comparisons with previous measurements. Additionally, uniform lighting is essential for comparing different photographic sessions, ensuring a precise and repeatable postural analysis over time.
Only images taken from exactly the same point and under identical conditions allow for image overlay and the detection of even the smallest postural variations in an authentic manner. Any other method leads to misleading representations, exposing the analysis to optical illusions and manipulations.

SpineLine: Technical Features
The measurement system is high-temperature powder-coated to ensure scratch resistance and long-lasting durability. Both the rotating platform and the base of the stand are equipped with adjustable adhesive feet, ensuring perfect leveling. The significant weight provides the system with extreme stability.
The device is powered directly from the electrical grid (100-240 V – 200W) and is operated via a single switch that controls the activation of the LED lights, the laser, and the camera. An adjustable timer ensures the automatic shutdown of the system after the analysis is complete.
A reflex camera, operated via remote control, captures high-resolution images on each axis. These are transmitted to the computer via Wi-Fi for subsequent postural analysis and comparison with previous images.
